Valley has a terrible night shooting the basketball but defense and turnovers lead to the victory.

We left at the half. Henry Co socred 3 points in the first quarter and none in the 2nd...they only had 3 points at the half. I liked #3 Justice and #12 Hatfield...I believe for Shelby Valley. They have a nice team.

You are wrong. He had a nice subbing rotation. All his players played and he subbed for I know #23 after only playing about 4 minutes in the first quarter. I even commented...he can't be tired...Henry Co has stalled the ball, and they have only made a few trips up and down the floor.

 

I liked this Shelby Valley team, they seam well coached and have some talent.

So SV had one play 27+ min. and won by 27 points. EC had one play 24 min even and won by 61. hmn:confused:

SV has a good team. I didnt expect HC to come out and win, but I thought they would compete for more than the first minute or two. I really liked the Justice kid, he really impressed me. Good luck to SV the rest of the tourney, and hopefully we can bounce back after a lopsided loss. I would love to be able to come back to EKU to watch the EC SV game if they both make it to play each other.

SV plays an 8 to 9 man rotation with the minutes spread around fairly evenly except for Justice who will usually play 30 minutes. They won the region VERY easily and then took a week off. I think Booher was allowing them to shake off some rust last night.

 

We are very proud of Justice and our team stuck back here in the mountains glad to hear you guys like them also. :thumb:

Like I said, until the end of the 3rd quarter they couldnt throw it in the ocean. After that they made a run and cut the lead to around 15 then ran out of gas. Shelby Valley is the 8th ranked team in the state, they played superior defense.

If I'm not mistaken, the Shelby Valley coach got his first coaching job at Henry County.
