BGP #4 J'Town wins its third straight since the LIT.

I was hoping my boys from South could have fared a little better.....

Sorry. Unfortunately most teams in the 8th Region do not handle the type defense and aggressive play in the 7th Region.

 

This year Anderson County and North Oldham might be the exceptions.

 

South Oldham seems like they have been down the last few years.

Only a few teams in the 8th typically from year to year play the aggressive presses that the 7th teams often bring...North Oldham, Anderson County, Shelby County, Oldham County, South Oldham, Simon Kenton, and sometimes Gallatin County.

 

But this a down year overall in the 8th...Gallatin, South, Oldham, SK, and Shelby are all struggling a bit...only North and Anderson can match up on most nights with the top 7th teams (Anderson lost to J-town by 2 - after missing 10 of 15 FTs...and a short-handed North squad blew a late lead to lose by 10 at Ballard in matchups featuring top-tier 7th teams...)
