I think what 2C is saying is that he wants it and is going to accept...unless something new happens that nobody expects.

Watusi and others, this is NOT A DONE DEAL YET. Coach Chapman has not accepted the position. He and Mike Holcomb get offers from schools every year. They talk to them, visit with them, think things over, but when its time to do the deal, they stay in Bobcat land. John Paul left once, it left a sour taste in his mouth, don't be suprised if he is back at Breathit Co. I hope that he comes, but I still would be suprised.

You're right, it is not a done deal, but it is very close I understand.

 

Coach Chapman hasn't accepted yet, but I think he is getting his ducks in a row for the journey. Of course, he could still change his mind and decline the offer.

From what I heard, he resigned.

 

He was let go. Sad situation, he did as well as you could do at my alma mater and you couldn't find a better person to lead the program. Sad day.
