January 11, 200917 yr Cleveland is trading Wally IMO and I heard Orlando might move Bogans and someone else. NJ might trade Vinve Carter to Cleveland for Wally. Those expiring contracts are pretty valuable at the deadline. W/ the economy the way it is this year there might be even more trades. I'm not saying they don't have room to work with but they don't have a ton. If they are planning on trading the expiring contract, they are likely going to be getting one back that is not expiring. For example VC who is owed about 50 Mil over the next 3 years. They are at 90 Mil this year and as it stands now they will be at 71 at the beginning of next year. Putting Vince on the books makes them unable to do anything else until 2010. I don't think he is the piece they need on that team. I don't see any reason Orlando would want any part of that trade. It wouldn't work anyways sally cap wise, it would have to be Bogans and 2 other guys to match Wally because they aren't trading Lewis or Howard.
January 11, 200917 yr Yes the Celtics are good. But there not the best anymore. I just think when it comes playoff time there will be to much Lebron James, and for Cleveland in the Finals i think there will be to much Kobe Bryant for the Cavs.

If they get someone like Vince who can score but doesn't like being the main piece it would make LBJ consider staying in Cleveland more than if they do nothing. Either way they have a better chance at getting better than Boston.
January 11, 200917 yr 4 straight losses by a combined 39 points makes things look a little bad. Boston will be fine, this team is 29-9. Yes they are a year older, yes they lost some key players, but they are still the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference. Boston will have as good a shot as anyone come playoff time..

Mark that down Okay get back at me in the summer. :thumb: It's not quite summer yet, but they aren't the regualr season East champs and if KG isn't able to go they aren't looking good to win the East now.

It's possible they could outlast the Magic, but I doubt. Regardless, they have no chance of beating Cleveland. Even if KG does play, the fact that he's not ready now and there's doubt about him being ready at any point tells me that he's not going to be at the level they need him to be to win a series against the Cavs. We're all just waiting for the Lakers and the Cavs at this point.
April 16, 200917 yr I look for KG to play if they get to the East Finals. Doesn't matter...he's not going to be 100%, and at anything less than that, they're not beating Cleveland without home court advantage. But, then again, I didn't think they'd beat them when I expected both teams to be at full strength.
April 16, 200917 yr Author Yeah without KG you cant take what I said serious... I missed the disclaimer in your original mark it down statement. The bigges reason I was confident they wouldn't do either is b/c of age and injury risk. They were really healthy last year for older players that have played as much as they have.
