January 4, 200917 yr Titans and Steelers fans rejoice. One of the most dangerous teams is out. Of course, San Diego is one of the hottest teams right now.
January 4, 200917 yr Man, you got this thread up there fast lol. Very good game, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Someone give Sproles Player of the Game for this one. He played like a beast.
January 4, 200917 yr For the Chargers to make a deep run in these playoffs Rivers is going to have to play smarter! You think we see LT at all next game? By the way I love the chargers powder blue jersey's prolly my favorite in the entire league.
January 4, 200917 yr I'll eat my crow I picked the Colts to win the AFC. Haha...glad you admit it. I just saw in that other thread where you were quoted as saying they were the best in the AFC lol.
January 4, 200917 yr Author A couple of thoughts: -This result combined with earlier underscores just how important homefield advantage is. Home teams win the majority of games, moreso in the playoffs. Arizona and San Diego were both dogs, but pull it out at home. -I believe Ladanian Tomlinson's time has passed. Sure, he may still be a serviceable RB, but he is not the superstar he once was, and I don't know if they wouldn't be better off trading him and going with a player like Sproles. It looks clear that they already made a mistake in not keeping Turner.
January 4, 200917 yr Haha...glad you admit it. I just saw in that other thread where you were quoted as saying they were the best in the AFC lol. Yeah they just got beat by the 2nd Hottest Team in SD. SD will win next week. :flame::thumb::banana:
January 4, 200917 yr I am glad that they have continually gave San Diego's punter, Scheifers (spelling?), a lot of recognition tonight. He played a great game for a punter.

January 4, 200917 yr Author LOL, it was hilarious listening to Philip Rivers shout just now in the postgame interview. Like he was saying "I'M GOING TO YELL EVERY SINGLE COMMENT!"

In my eyes he still has a few good years in him and when its all said and done will go down as one of the best rb's to ever play the game. Remember though, LT plays for the fact that he loves the game, wasnt it last year or the year before he said he could retire now and be happy? These types of rb's dont come around very often, see Barry Sanders etc.
