January 2, 200917 yr 38-14...glad the UC game comes on here in a few minutes. Me too... this game is boring. Penn State definately should've played a stronger out of Big Ten schedule (and they're one of my favorite teams):thumb:
January 2, 200917 yr They need to do away with the Big 10 / PAC 10 affiliation for the Rose Bowl. It really messes up what could be awesome matchups. I would love to see USC vs Alabama. Instead I get to watch this junk every single year. I've been thinking the same thing every year for quite some time when watching the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl is usually one of the worst games every bowl season because the Big 10 gets to play.
January 2, 200917 yr Florida doesn't have the same overall team speed as USC...just my opinion though. Kind of a moot point considering we'll never know since they don't play. I agree though that Miami used to be a lot of fun to watch with Portis, Dorsey, and co. USC's D is quick PSU can't break a big play wide open because of that, which has gotta be extremely frustrating, it's almost like they just wear you down psychologically. I'm just glad that the SEC isn't playing someone from the Big 10 again, that was really starting to become a joke.

USC's team speed is just too much for them both offensively and defensively, just as it was for Ohio St. It also doesn't help that USC has two starting LB's in Maulagu (sp?) and Cushing (sp?) that are absolutely stacked and will knock your head off if you try and run it down their throat.
January 2, 200917 yr I don't know if Penn State is overrated or USC is just that good. I really wish they could play the winner of the UF/Oklahoma game.
January 2, 200917 yr They are one score away from making it at least intersting. If they can get an onside kick, it'll at least be worth watching the end.

Their safety looks like he was a gift from the gods to the Trojans, kids a freak, they said he runs a 4.28 40. I'm thinking those PSU WR's probably say a prayer before every route across the middle.
