Great streak, however, it had to end sometime.

Boston had there chances in this game.

I really think it will be LA vs Boston in the Finals.

Rondo with 12 assists.:ylsuper:

His lack of scoring ability really hurt Boston down the stretch. Kobe was able to play off and help on all of the others.

Rondo's lack of scoring ability didn't hurt them. Ray Allen missing 7 3's (of which many were GREAT looks) hurt them a ton.

Also, the Lakers got a few calls their way. The big one that comes to mind was when Ariza saved the ball the 1st time. No doubt that he was on the line when he flipped the ball back in bounds. A Laker grabbed it and was fouled for a 3 point play.

I thought the officiating was surprisingly poor. The aforementioned call was bad, and Derek Fisher got hacked on a 3 late in the game that wasn't called.

The Celtics have a better 1st 5, but they're not nearly as deep as they were last year.

Yes, losing Posey hurt them, at least in terms of their bench. However, they are still far too strong for anyone in the East to beat them 4 out of 7, IMO. Hopefully they meet up with the Lakers again!

Down the stretch it most certainly did. Anytime Pierce had the ball Kobe ran to double him. Allen did miss some 3's throughout the game, but didn't have many good looks in the 4th.

The Cavs are really, really good. I wouldn't be shocked if they took them down.

Yeah, you could be right. I don't see it, though.

Good game. Playoff intensity from both the Lakers and the Lakers fans, but not the Celtics. The Celtics simply just didn't want it as much as the Lakers.
