Your right, they seem to have very, very deep pockets.

They will pay whatever they can to get big name players.

I know it is only a dream but just imagine for just a second (because thats how long it takes to remember its the Bengals) how much the Bengals would instantly be better. Sims is going to be a good player and with him next to Haynesworth, Odem had great years playing with him in Tenn. All of this would make the Db's better and then ad in Rivers. Would be fun to watch, oh well it is nice to dream.

With the young core of LBs they have they would be much better with the signing of him BUT lets wake up real fast and realize who we are talking about spending the money. Ain't going to happen!

Talk about a player the Bengals could really use. Draft that Smith from Bama and get Haynesworth and a healthy Palmer, Bengals are instantly a better team possbily 10-6 team, but I know can't get much worse.

To me it's prett simple. There is one HUGE reason the Titans have the best record in football and it is him. I agree that I worry about injuries a little but if you are going to invest cash then I would do it up front. Look what Jenkins has done for the Jets. Al automatically changes what a team can do. I'd be all over him last year if I were an owner. Everytime he is out their record it worse. I'm not sure how many good years he has left (don't know his age) that is the only reason I would back off. He is one of the few game changers ala "All Day" out there.

The Big H will get big time money. I think he is smart enough not to go to Cincy.

If you can get 13 games per year from Haynesworth and have him ready for the post-season, he'll be well worth the investment. Very few DT's stay healthy for an entire 16 game season.
