I think Tebow will win because the Big XII guys will split the vote out there.

Are there any games this weekend, or nothing til after Christmas?

Would be a joke if he did..

Not at all. I would give it to McCoy because imo Texas would have never been in the title hunt and would have lost a couple more games without him. However Tebow has played awesome down the stretch and definitely deserves consideration.

He will win it again!

You are correct, Heisman is announced Dec. 13th and the Heisman dinner, were the official presentation is made, is the 15th.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Not Div. I-A games. First Bowl game is Dec 20. There are 4 that day.

Why don't you think he should win it?

His numbers are not close to those of Harrell's, Bradford's, and McCoy. Therefor it would be a joke.

How would it be a joke if Tebow won? His stats are great.

If you call 2,500 passing yards great, then that's alright. Lets look at Tebow's numbers compared to the other guys.

Tebow - 176.1 passer rating - 64.9 completion % - 2,515 yards - 28 TD's - 2 INT - 564 rushing yards - 12 TD's

Harrell - 163.0 passer rating - 71.5 completion % - 4,747 passing yards - 41 TD's - 7 INT

Bradford - 186.3 passer rating - 68.3 completion % - 4,464 passing yards - 48 TD's - 6 INT

McCoy - 179.3 passer rating - 77.6 completion % - 3,445 passing yards - 32 TD's - 7 INT - 576 rushing yards - 10 TD's

Now Whose numbers are the best? McCoy has more rushing yards than Tebow is less carries. If Bradford doesn't win the Heisman, it is a complete joke. It's a big enough joke Tebow got invited back, especially over Harrell.

His stats are great, he doesn't have the TDs that Bradford has or the passing accuracy that McCoy has, but to me, Tebow deserves it on one stat alone... He only threw 2 interceptions, count them TWO, in the SEC! That is amazing right there.

So Because he threw 4 less INTs than Bradford, and 5 less than McCoy and Harrell he should win the Heisman? Hmmm......

You could say the same thing about Tebow or Bradford. Without them, OU & UF wouldn't be playing for the title.

Agreed

I agree. However, McCoy don't have near as many weapons as those two and Texas ain't competing for the Big 12 title without him, let alone the BCS title. UF and OU are loaded with talent around the QB position, which McCoy hasent been blessed with. Imo UF and OU would still compete for there conferance titles and possibly a BCS title without there star QB's and imo Texas has no shot without McCoy.

^ Tebow won the Bama game. Disagree?

No he should win because he's the best over all player in College football, and the most valuable to his team. Not to mention the fact that you have to bring it every week in the SEC, no matter who you're playing. Also take into consideration that as a team Florida rushed for over 1,000 more yards than Texas, and I believe about 600 more than Oklahoma.

IMHO Teebow's stat's could've been much more impressive if Urban Meyer's goals for the season were to win Teebow another Heisman. However that was not the case, still doesn't change the fact that Tim is the best.

Goes both way though, you say that McCoy not having the same weapons meant that he had to be the guy. Teebow was also "the guy" however he had to share the wealth. Florida rushed for over 3200 yards as a team. Think about that. You cut out 1000 of those rushing yards like McCoy's team, where do you think they go to....;)
