Whitley has improved alot this year, any stats?

A lot of people forget that Whitley had South down in the fourth quarter of last year's 50th District Tournament game before the Cardinals rallied.

I think Coach Wright has about 9 lives just like a cat. He can find a way to pull out a win in the jaws of defeat. His presence alone is worth 15 points most nights.

What does Whitley look like this year? Do they have a soild team?

Sounds like these two teams went to battle. Whitley plays solid defense and that alone can keep you in most games.

South Played well and Whitley played well, South made two less field goals than Whitley and shot 10 more free throws.

 

Very physical game and one that was fun to watch. I look for Whitley to surprise some teams this year. Lebanion played about 5 minutes but as he comes along he will continue to improve and help the team get better. Whitley needs some true guards and once they develop them this season they will be solid.

 

South is South, the only chink in the armour is the the Wright kid, he was a little slow and committed a couple of key fouls late. St. John is a player and he is the go to guy. They are well coached and execute better than some other teams with more talant, look for them to be in the mix come March.

TM you are being a little hard on the Wright kid aren't you? Roscoe will make sure that the Cards are well coached. South and Corbin make the 50th a hard place to play.

Eric is a great kid that can shoot.
