It's a combination of both. I was there and from what I saw Bellevue has to find guard play. Jones, I believe had close to twenty and ten for Bellevue, but the guards couldn't get the ball up the floor two straight possisions all game. I didn't see a guard use both hands decently all night.

 

The defense does get after it though, there very scrappy and fast, but the other forward, Young is slow and lazy IMO. I think it's going to be a rough first year for Coach Herald and co unless they find a true guard.

 

But congrats to W-town, they pressured the guards and didn't let up all night. Bellevue was down 20 plus, but made a comeback to ten, but W-town didn't miss more than three free throws all night.

I agree. Give the kid a break he only scored 28 in the opener and 18 in this one. Averaging 24 a game and carrying the team offensively is hardly being lazy. :irked:

I'm not attacking anyone, I've been to all three games, and just not impressed. He doesn't play defense, and he shoots everytime he touches it. Just not impressed with the team as a whole either. The program was coming around the past few years too.

Well if he isnt playing defense Im sure Mike Herald would notice but if he is pouring in 18 a game I wouldnt complain too much.

When you have no outside shooting, your big man underneath has to do all the scoring. No guard play, the kid is a scorer.

That is not the truth, Most of the points from this kid come from Jones' driving and getting double teamed then either has a wide open lay up or a easy stick back.. Bellevue has two or three guards that can shoot rather well... So when this kid gets two or three defenders on him and he still throws up a shot, it's just not a team-oriented player. Sorry

Been around junior an senior class for 10 years they have no shooters. You must be seeing something else.

Thomas Barret can definitly shoot, don't know what you're watching, been shooting three's since his sophomore year, and if your saying chris gregory can't shoot, then you don't know basketball.

Thomas isn't much better, both shot under 25% for the year.Thomas is a baseball player anyway.Chris can't get the ball past half court.They have no real 1 or 2 guard. They have a freshman that will play point by the end of the year.

Williamstown is located just below Boone, Kenton and between Owen and Pendleton Counties. They will have about 40 in the Graduating Class. Not sure but around 300 total in the High school Classes.

What does this have anything to do with how he plays basketball? In that case Hunter Jones is just a baseball player too.

Austin Kessen sat the bench his junior year? How'd he turn out? Also when you only get a chance to shoot two three's a game, a good shooter has a hard time finding a groove when 21(young) looks right at them and fakes, then continues to shoot... Thomas is a baseball player? So is the best player on your team in Hunter Jones. Bad arguement..
