In all honesty...I am oreally up set that Heath Ledger passed away...like very upset by it.

When it happened I was stunned. It's really weird, but it kinda took the breath out of me. Mainly I felt awful because he had a young daughter..and he looked so happy with her, and he had everything ahead of him. It was such a bad accident :(. But yeah it really is so sad.

So did I. I thought he was an amazing actor. Even aside from all the obvious girl factors, he really was not even to his best yet. He was up and coming still. So much potential left.

I would like to think I have had a few "15 minutes of fame" and one of them was working in the casting office of the movie The Patriot.

 

I went to the filming location one time and met Mel Gibson briefly and Heath was there that night filming a scene, but I didn't meet him.

 

My aunt got me the job and told me a story that since she had her own cleaning business, she was contracted to clean some of the actors or production people's condos while they filmed in Rock Hill.

 

I guess she want to his condo to clean, he answered the door in only a towel and had money laying everywhere. He handed her a bunch of money and asked her nicely to pick up some cleaning supplies. :lol:

 

She said he was very nice, but you could tell he was living the celeb life even back then. Still a tragic story, it happens all too often with young, talented actors.

You figure Heath was 21 or 22 when he filmed the Patriot, not that he didn't look good as he got older, but yep, he was a decent looking kid when he was a teenager. I can imagine you aren't the only woman that might have passed out seeing him in next to nothing. :lol:
