Beechwood at Holmes Predictions (12/3)

Featured Replies

One thing's for sure...Beechwood will have a tough time trying to rebound against Holmes considering Beechwood's tallest player is probably only 6'3.

Anyone want to predict an over/under for how many dunks Holmes will have?

I would say over six dunks, but they might get them in the frist half.

Agreed only with one nasty dunk by Pittman that might bring the whole building down.:thumb:

So the first 2 guys off the bench could start for anybody in the State?

BTW Beechwood by 10 Eta Rho comes back down to earth.:thumb:

I wouldn't say they would start for anybody in the state, but they would clearly start for any other team in the 9th. Arnold would start for most teams in the state. He is a 6 foot 6 wing player. Thats not common in Kentucky. Holmes wins this one by as much as they want. Holmes has a whole aau team. The talent is unlimited in Covington ,and it will be this way for years to come in the 9th.

I was playing against Pittman this summer down 15th street park. He almost dunked on me, I WAS VERY THANKFUL IT WENT OFF THE BACK OFF THE RIM. I tried to foul him, but the kid was just to exsplosive. I m six three 225 and i couldn' t jump with him to save my life. He is Dwight Campbell high.

Pittman had two nasty dunks against Male in the scrimmage sat. One was off a missed shot, he grabbed it with two hands off the rim and tomahawked it down and the second one he kind of bullied his way around down low off a loose ball then dunked over 3 kids trying to guard him, two of which were 6'5 and 6'6.

I've been told Holmes is not overly deep at the varsity level.

I guess you were joking?

Is Beechwood's Crane able to play? I heard he was injured during football.

I hope Mic keeps some of this talent at home. Them kids have big time talent, and to be so young they work really hard.

Well from what I'm hearing from a pretty reliable source, Cardo really likes UC and Mick. Pittman has a ton of upside so a lot of different schools will come calling this year. Should be fun to watch these two over the next two years along with JJ and Arnold.

I think Coach Henley will keep it at about 30. He really does a great job of keeping scores reasonable if at all possible.

Is this game on radio.

Probably not, unless Beechwood has a radio crew that airs their games.

Holmes 77-53.

Beechwood returns more talent than many are giving them credit for. That being said, I think Holmes names the score. The Bulldogs are too big and talented for the Tigers. I'm not sure who does the scheduling for Beechwood (coach? AD?), but playing Holmes first game of the season was probably not the best idea. I look for Holmes to dominate NKY opponents this season. If Beechwood has any chance of winning, they better slow the tempo and hit their outside shots, otherwise Holmes will have a dunkfest.

Wow, if that's true let's not post any predictions for Holmes against ninth region teams.....they should win every game by 25 points minimum don't ya think?
