Jeremy Barr transfers to Raceland

Featured Replies

Jeremy Barr, the leading rusher and reciever for 6A Central Hardin, has officially transferred to Raceland. He was the tailback in the Tony Franklin system offense, so he should adapt to Ram football fairly soon. From what I hear, he is a pretty good baseball player, too. Being a 6'1" 185 pound junior, he should be an asset to the sports programs at Raceland.

I hope the KHSAA approves the transfer more quickly than they did for Joey Meehan & his family. For a while I think the KHSAA thought the Meehans should commute the 127 miles each way (from Hazard to Lexington) to work....

Congratulations to all.

If this goes through, that will be a great addition to the team (& another tough opponent for LCA and our district)

I here you.:thumb:

...and the Russell fans take one more shot to the stomach before November ends... :D

I haven't had the opportunity to meet Jeremy yet, but I look forward to it. He's a Ram now, and I would like to welcome him to the community and to the program.

Yes, you are right about him being a Ram. I, too, want to welcome Jeremy to Ram Nation. Remember Jeremy, It's a great day to be a Ram!

Great news! From what I have heard the kid can flat out play some football. I believe we have another boy who had to sit out this year but will also be a new addition to the team next year. Having Jeremy and the Troxler kid playing will help tremendously. Things are already looking bright, no more "rebuilding" seasons in Ramland... just "reloading"!!!

Also any word on what Sebastian's status is for next year?

So he has transferred mid-year or he is transferring after this year?

Also any word on what Sebastian's status is for next year?

If you will feed him, we will keep him.:D

He's a very good ballplayer. You folks in Raceland will like what he brings to the table.

Jim, do you have his stats for this season? Any other informaiton?

haha I think all of us BGPers need to start a "Feed Sebastian" fund... I think it would be worth it to keep him around...lol!! But seriously, the kid is a great lineman. I would have loved to have him blocking for me!

As would we all. We would have won the food drive versus Russell by a even larger margin, if Sabastian didn't get in to the collection boxes before they were turned in. We just chalked it up to the community helping one of their players.
