5) For the semi-state round (fourth round), the champion of

region 1 will play the champion of Region 2 while the champion

of Region 3 will play the champion of Region 4. The team

representing the even-numbered Region shall host the games

in even-numbered years, while the team representing the odd numbered

Region shall host the game in odd-numbered years.

I'm going with my neighbors in Green and Gold.

I thought of something as my son slept until 11:00 this morning. No team in the state will have its normal activities today as they prepare for the regional tonight. No school today so the players should be better rested but will the unusual schedule affect anyone’s play? Of course this would be imposable to determine but it’s just a thought. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Bus rides will still be just as long; just not immediately following a day of school (which would affect both squads). I don't see anything that would favor the home or the away teams.
