November 25, 200817 yr Author Sounds reasonable to me. :thumb: The lady on CNN (obviously hiding a giggle) actually commended her for being so nice. Imagine that - a billionaire offered to buy her a new house and she actually picked out a used mobile home so as to not take advantage of him.
December 1, 200817 yr You are going to think I'm lying, but I'm not. I'm watching the news and of course, this story is on. All the sudden, the reporter says, "Oh, here comes the trailer down Cassidy Creek Road now." Or something to that effect. I look at my wife and say, "Did she just say Cassidy Creek Road?" She says, "Yep." My grandparents live on Cassidy Creek Road in Nicholas Co.! So on our way to Thanksgiving Thursday, we take a picture of the trailer with our cell phone. I'll see if I can attach it when I get to work tomorrow.
December 1, 200817 yr It is interesting that she didn't take the offer for the new home but I am thinking 12 people in a double wide? Why not let him buy a house with a few more bedrooms? I can't get over the story though. Wow. Had to be so heartbreaking for her and the whole family.
