November 5, 200817 yr He won, he ran on “Change” which many of you parroted on here for months. So tell me, and be honest with yourself as well as the rest of us. What exactly is he going to change? What real changes do you really, honestly believe he will accomplish?
November 5, 200817 yr Been here, done this in too many threads to count. The election is over. I plan to move forward with life and find a way to continue supporting Obama's policies in my own little world.
November 5, 200817 yr He'll bring home our troops! That way he we can fight on American Soil! He's also going to be your average ordinary everyday Robin Hood. He's going to take from the rich (Or well off) and give to the poor! I don't know about you folks... but i'm excited!

Of course, I guess this is another one of my "traps". :sssh:

Of course, I guess this is another one of my "traps". :sssh: And your reply tells me that after all these months, you either didn't retain what I wrote, or choose to dwell on the negative you want to see. I prefer to move forward. I've posted my thoughts countless times over the past few months. I will be a PART of the upcoming change, not a naysaying spectator. See ya on the other side!
November 5, 200817 yr Author OK, so Rockmom's out, which makes it so confusing to me that she posted in this thread to begin with, but, whatever. So, the rest of you. Anything?
November 5, 200817 yr Wow...ten minutes to answer a question in a sea of 8000 new threads. I thought I was going to be rushed! I hope that his policies will lead to a larger investment in renewable energies. I PRAY that he will do away with or drastically reform No Child Left Behind act. I hope that he will re-establish weakened lines of communication to those countries that are our allies and that he will work to keep peace with those countries that do NOT like us. I hope that he will be able to decrease the number of people that do not have healthcare. I hope that he is able to promote the BEST healthcare for our wounded troops and military veterans. They deserve it! These are some of the highlights, not many details (hard to do that in a ten minute window ). If he can accomplish at least half of this, I will be pleased. Question for the NON-Obama voters (and RTS, if you want me to move this to another thread, I will gladly do so)... There are a multitude of things that you disagree with Obama about. Let's say, for example, that he chooses to promote off-shore drilling. Will you A) support him or B) complain about him flip-flopping? In short, will you support him if he does find it necessary to change from his platform stances?

I'm curious as to what people really think will be changed. I don't ming the question in this thread, no need to move it as far as I'm concerned. I will support him if he does something like promoting off-shore drilling. Heck, I'll support him if he moves to the center on his positions.

November 5, 200817 yr I believe he will first change the drapes and then probably hang some new pictures. They could even move some furniture around and maybe even put in a new indoor basketball court. Seriously? He will attempt to change alot of things, but to ask what exactly will he change, not even he knows yet. I will give a prediction though. I do believe he will change some minds of his detractors and that will be a very good sign.
November 5, 200817 yr ... Here is a list: 1. His name 2. His mind 3. His stance on some issues 4. and as bad as I hate it his address
