GRC 43 North Laurel 10

GRC win big on Senior night. Hope to have some state later.

Congrats to the cards. Anyone have any stats?

Williams 180 yards on the ground. He come out of the game really early due to not wanting to run the score up or he would have gotten alot more.

This is not a game to really base stats on. Williams is going to get great stats regardless due to his amazing abilities on the field. So excluding Williams, other stats made by others in this game were not that really hard to come by. The difficulty level was not high.

Nice to have a win, but I'm not a fan who gets all excited over meaningless games. Anybody can beat up on a lesser openent, lets see what the team is made of when it faces better competition.

Great win for the Cards tonight on senior night. Also able to get more players some PT.....which could be valuable in the playoffs. Also gave Skinner and Menchen a chance to take some reps at the QB position. Andrew Dini did a great job the first half....he did not play the second half, as Columbia cleared his bench.

You base stats on all games played.:thumb:

According to your post then the stats from the Montgomery Co game 19-0, the Harrison Co game 44-0 and the Tates Creek game 25-7

other stats made by others in these games were not that really hard to come by. Would this hold true? Because the difficulty level was not high.

Some stats from the game:

Dini completed 11-of-14 passes in the first half, including five passes for 64 yards to Thomas in the opening half. Dini didn’t attempt a pass in the second half as Columbia cleared out his bench.

Way to go Andrew:ylsuper: Also loved the QB keeper in the first quarter :thumb:

Clark’s defense limited the Jaguars to 104 yards in the opening half and forced four turnovers overall. Way to do D.:thumb:

Williams rushed for 71 yards on six carries on Clark’s first two possessions and had a 36-yard kickoff return to set up a 1-yard touchdown by Dini following a safety, giving the hosts a 16-0 advantage with 5:50 remaining in the first quarter.

Williams had 45 yards on four carries on Clark’s first drive. The senior running back collected 20 yards on his initial carry and capped the drive with a 4-yard touchdown run.

Williams continued his first-quarter dominance with a 17-yard catch on the Cards’ third series, capped by his own 28-yard touchdown run, giving the hosts a comfortable 22-0 advantage with 53 seconds remaining in the first frame.

Wardrup of North Laurel finished with 96 yards, giving him 992 for the season.

Laurel is mispelled in the thread name.

Just a head's up.

Middlesboro 49, South Laurel 29 ... I was told Chappell was ejected.

Jackets led 42-7 at one point.

Sorry to hijack a thread for the score, but that was the only place I had seen Les.

No problemo ... I'm just glad Halloween is OVER! Too many people using my yard as a parking spot. LOL.

Great job GRC

Chappell wasn't ejected, but Billy Roberts was. He went on the field and went wild after an incomplete pass on the opposite side of the field when he thought there should have been a pass interference call. I don't know what he said, but at least 3 flags came out from all over the field.

NL continues to struggle. They have one chance left to get a win against Leslie.
