G-town- Will be tough and has one of the best frosh in the country Davidson- Very easily Curry can carry than team without a doubt Michigan and Xavier- Will be good games. October 30, 200817 yr The ones I speak of are the ones ranked in the preseason poll. I think Duke is a little over ranked as well but only time will tell. I just found it funny how quick you were to write off Duke's schedule. Didn't "write off" the schedule, but I was commenting on Grizzley's comment that Duke had such an amazing non-conference schedule. Give me a break

October 30, 200817 yr Do you consider UK's OOC schedule to be tougher??? Nope, I sure dont. Never did I bring UK into the equation. They play North Carolina, Miami (FL), and Louisville. All tough opponents. But outside of that, its awful. They should have played a tougher OOC schedule since the SEC is so weak now.

Not sure why people keep bringing UK into the equation when I didn't mention UK in my argument with Duke's schedule. UK is not on Duke's league right now, no way no how. I don't base my argument on contrast to UK, I base my argument on what I think is tough or not. Period.
October 30, 200817 yr I asked what you know of Purdue, Georgetown and Xavier and didn't get a reply. All three should be very good once again this year... Sorry, I was too busy defending myself against some narrow-minded personal shots. Xavier- They are a great A-10 team, but IMO they are just that. Derrick Brown will be tough, as will Anderson and Raymond, but I dont see them doing much of anything outside of the A-10. With them losing Lavender and Duncan, they won't get near as far in the tournament as they did last year, probably a loss in the second round. Purdue- They have the potential to be a pretty solid team, but I'm not sure if they can get over the hump. They have almost everyone returning from their "Baby Boilermakers" last season, which saw a second round loss in the tournament. Maybe they've matured into a team to be reckoned with. I'll believe it when I see it. Georgetown- Lost Hibbert. Lost Wallace. Lost Little Ewing. Yes, they still have Summers and Sapp, which means they will still have a successful season. But I wouldn't be surprised if they ended the season with 13-15 losses.
