October 29, 200817 yr I have said since Oden was in high school that I was unimpressed with him. I don't know what it is about his game that attracts so much attention. I don't think he is a game changer, and I don't think he will make any significant impact on this Blazers team. I don't think they're a playoff team with or without him. There is nothing impressive about his offensive game, but he is a game changer defensivly just ask Florida about Oden, he about single handly beat them in the national championship game one handed. A team that had 4 1st round draft picks, 3 lottery picks and 6 players drafted.

Portland still may be a year a way from being a contender, but they will be a dangerous team that no one will want to face. It's one game man....They're very young, they're going to have these kind of games. Yeah thats a little premature SV the Lakers are very good. But a lot of people expected the Blazers to be good, and in order to be good you have to hang with the best, you don't have to beat them but you can't be getting blown out at halftime. And with Oden, I have never been impressed with him and I think he'll struggle, he doesn't have great footwork and he is really slow. I just think the Blazers are too young and have too many "me" players to hang in the west.

No, was Boston rusty tonight? No! Shoot, even the Bucks played well and they are a bad team...I know the Lakers are very very good but I think the Blazers are really bad. It's a cop out. Teams should be ready to play whether it's the first game of the season or the last game.

So you are telling me in the course of an 82 game season, teams aren't allowed to play games in which they aren't playing their best, and as for the preseason, NBA preseason gamers are as useless as NFL preseason games. I said they are still a year away, They are dangerous though, but I guess we will check back on this, Portland has way to much talent not to be competive, they are trying to make a game of this, they are playin much better now.
