October 29, 200817 yr I expect the Celtics, Cavaliers, 76ers, Raptors, Pistons, and Magic to all field very good teams. I think the Bulls and Wizards all to field slightly above average teams and round out the playoffs. I believe the Heat will show strides throughout the season, but come up short. This will be a .500 or so team. Same with the Hawks. I don't think any playoff team in the east is going to be below .500 this year, but that's just an educated guess. Everyone else... It's going to be a long year. That's just how I see things though.

If the Wizards are healthy they are good, but they are injury prone and already missing Haywood and I believe Arenas.
October 29, 200817 yr I am probably overestimating the Heat, I just have a good feeling about them for whatever reason. It's sad that I feel like I am overestimating a team I think will miss the playoffs, though.

I think they'll be solid. I think they'll be very good. The addition of Brand takes the pressure off AI, and allows him to play his game, and not have to shoulder the load. I also really like Louis Williams off the bench. I think he could explode this year if given the chance.

I think they'll be solid. No your right, I told you I had no good reason just a hunch, I think they overachieved last year and will come back down to earth this year. JMO, probably won't be right looking at their roster.

You have to remember they are playing the Defending Western Conference Champs who added Bynum basically. Portland still may be a year a way from being a contender, but they will be a dangerous team that no one will want to face.

October 29, 200817 yr I have said since Oden was in high school that I was unimpressed with him. I don't know what it is about his game that attracts so much attention. I don't think he is a game changer, and I don't think he will make any significant impact on this Blazers team. I don't think they're a playoff team with or without him.
