October 22, 200817 yr Apparently, it was just an altercation between a small group of students. One person was injured in the fight. There's no evidence at this point that anyone ever had a gun.
October 22, 200817 yr Author Seems like everyone TV station has a different report. I believe I just heard that all units are now leaving South Campus, but ARE NOT to go to Main Campus... I think thats what I just heard.

Hopefully the gunshot reports are wrong. FOX NEWS had Bob Skipper, University spokesperson, on the phone, Skipper says no confirmation of shots fired or injuries. A fight was broken up in another area of campus in an unrelated matter. Police are still investigating all reports. Let's hope for the best.

October 22, 200817 yr Author CNN now having a little more coverage on the situation. Yes there were shot fired in Sept... but I believe that was around 3 in the morning. No classes or anything at the time. WKU is home to several strange events. I dont know if any of you remember, but there was a girl raped and burned to death back in '03. WKU has had some sad events happen as of late.
October 22, 200817 yr Author WKU police has taken at least one person away in custody per WBKO... that's about all they know.
October 22, 200817 yr Author The Assistant to the Pres. at WKU is on the phone with WBKO and is reporting there was a physical altercation at South Campus... But no evidence of any weapons or shots fired. A second physical altercation was reported at PFT... That's when the shots fired reports went out.
