Fort Campbell comes into this game 7-0, 2-0 in the district, and ranked # 1 in 2A. Owensboro Catholic is 3-4, 2-0 in the District, and is coming off a big win over Warren East. This game will decide the regular season district championship and home field advantage in the playoffs. The game will be played at Fort Campbell.

I believe Fort Campbell wins by 2 or 3 TDs. Not only have they been very good on both sides of the ball, they have had an extra week to prepare and get guys healthy.

Fort Campbell 52

Owensboro Cath. 14

OC no match for the mighty Falcons! :thumb:

If it is then there is no competition in 2A. Ft Campbell should win this and win it big!

That makes no since....Maybe in 2A there is no competition on that side of the state...There are 2A teams in the North,East and central part of Ky that will have a Shot at the 2A title...

Fort Campbell 42

Owensboro Cath. 17

FC 38-14

Ft. Campbell 45-12.

Is this game FT.Campbells toughest competition so far this season?

Probably, I though at the beginning of the year that Mayfield, Warren East, and Paducah Tilghman were going to give Fort Campbell more of a game then they did. Now I believe Owensboro Catholic and Franklin-Simpson might give them a run for their money. However in 2A their primary competition in the west is from OC, Caldwell, and Trigg. If FC wins this Friday then I believe they will play two of the three in the playoffs with the Regional winner facing probably Green County, Danville, Monroe, or Bardstown in the semis.

In all honesty, I think Fort Campbell’s most competitive regular season game will be against Franklin-Simpson and they should cruise through the playoffs until the semis.

I agree. I have been to all the games except with Union County and I keep expecting the other team to show-up and play, but it hasn't happened. I wonder if the Falcons are really that good or really that un-tested. I believe OC will have a decent showing, but FC will win going away. Franklin-Simpson will hopefully provide a late season gut-check prior to entering the playoffs.

Fort Campbell 52-12.

I'm so excited about seeing the game this week. My son is thrilled, he's had some good practices and is ready to play when called upon. His non-surgery knee is still a bit sore, but he's doing fine.

Later.
