The schedule is not that weak.

I hope you are right about the Rock.Bell will be ready For who ever.

Bell County is undefeated and possibly looking at a shot at a state championship and people in the stands are grumbling about who next year's running back will be? Wow! I find that hard to believe.

 

Mama bear, I totally agree with ya! Sounds to me like someone is a little disgruntal about one of there on not playing as much as they would like for them to. But then again BC has only scored over 312 points this season and only given up like 21 points or something crazy like that. I mean what else would have blazer want for them to have score a hundred in each of the 7 games.

 

One fact remains in life, "you can make some of the people happy some of the time but you will NEVER make all the people happy all the time".

Can't he schedule a 5a team instead of taking a cake-walk with 2a, 3a and weak out of atate teams? I'm sure many teams would like to play the bobcats. They have to play district teams but that leaves 6 other games on the schedule. One or two good games would help down the road.

 

I would say if you could find them for Hilton he would schedule them people aren't knocking down the doors. People don't want to play Bell can't you figure that out by now. I know that Hilton would love to play Belfry, Johnson Central, Breathitt and just about anybody else. If you find them they will come.

Talk in the stands like this happens when their team is winning big every week, I guess some fans just get bored and have nothing else to talk about. Not to mention the complacency factor that some fans get. A lot of good teams who stay good for a while will see their fan base dwindle or become stagnant because of the same ole same ole. It happens, best example of this was when Boyle County was winning #4 and #5, fans were real complacent. Sad, sometimes.

 

This is a rarity but I totally agree with ya on that and very well said. It is a shame that people can get that spoiled and selfish to not appreiate a young student atheletes HARD work and love of the game. We adults do need to realize we are talking about teenaged boys here that are making choices to be leaders and role models in there schools.

Are Bell Co & LexCath expected to Battle in out for a spot in the finals? Where does Boyle Co fit in?

Hilton's record speaks for itself. I don't really think he cares if you are disappointed or a few fans are grumbling/worried about NEXT YEAR'S running back. Who cares if he is playing "linemen" in the backfield? He, like most coaches, will do whatever it takes to to give his team the best chance to win. So far, in his career, he seems to know what he's doing. Come on, enjoy the success. Quit worrying about petty things!

Quite a few years ago probably one of the best running backs to ever play for Bell Co Lance Burnett played defensive lineman so I don't get where they are coming from and Carton doesn't ever compare to him at all in my opinion.

I could think of several player that played in the backfield and on the D-line. I believe Robert Muncy did back in 97. Also Kevin Napier did for a couple years. As did John Brumbach. All 3 were very good football players on both sides of the ball. Tyler Harbin is used some like that this year.

with Henry at fullback. Makes about as much sense as someone raising this question in the middle of this current season. The players need to concentrate on the present season, not the future, this teams really controls their own destinity. They have the personnell to win the big one, but do they have the want to, desire to bring the second state title back to log Mtn. Stay tuned, only time will tell.

What region if you are talking about region 8 then I believe that District 7's top three teams will win the first round playoff games. This would be Bell, Knox Central and Rockcastle. District 8 seems to be pretty weak.
