October 19, 200817 yr Dont get me wrong Cobb is a special talent and I like his game but he hasnt had any big plays that would give people a reason to label him as a total threat. Anyone agree with me?
October 19, 200817 yr I agree. I'm just tired of our only yards gained from the QB position being screens. No deep threat, no play making. It's just very frustrating 3 and short not coming up with 1sts on offense.

Anyone agree with me? He has made enough plays, and Hartline has screwed up enough, for me to KNOW he should be playing at QB.. Cobb gives UK a more athletic look at QB, and he can make plays with his feet. Two HUGE things Hartline lacks..

It's just very frustrating 3 and short not coming up with 1sts on offense. Agree, way to many screen passes that result in UK's only big yardage plays. UK was very successful the last 2 years because they had a nice passing game that could go deep and they had the guys who could go out and catch the deep balls. This year they have guys who can make plays, minus the injury to Lyons, but Ford, Lanxter, Cobb, and Boyd can make plays, they just don't have a solid QB to get them the ball..

Again i'm not hating on him at all just trying to be realistic I don't think he is an electric player, or even a great player. He is just a guy who is playing on a team with a terrible QB, and his performance at the QB spot lead people to believe he is the better choice of the two. I have already stated many times why I believe he should be the QB..but that is just me.
