Lynn Camp and Williamsburg Hatefest '09 is next friday. (It is a lot like a fist fight with a football involved.)

Lynn Camp is fresh off a head thumping at the hands of WCHS.

Williamsburg comes in off of a sloppy game (win) against Harlan High School.

LC should get a familiar face or two back this week, while Williamsburg has no injuries that I am aware of at this point.

What do you all think?

Jackets win, but it will be close.

88 is a monster for Lynn Camp. Mitchell is explosive with the ability to score on every play. If Wagner and Steele play along with Persons this gives Lynn Camp a lot of weapons. This game will be closer than most people think but I expect the Jackets will prevail.

I have seen both the Jackets and Wildcats over the last two weeks, if the Wildcats has a good condition week and use their big men up front, I will take the Wildcats in this one.

This game will be close if L.C. gets a few weapons back. Wburg will have a advantage playing at home. L.C. toughness impressed me last night. I hope they are healthy, it will be a exciting game.

The only hate that appears to go on is between some fans and a few BGP posters who stur things up. The games have been hard hitting but clean. I look for this one to be no different. LC getting healthy and Wburg playing better "D". Could be a low scoring affair with TO's and special teams making the difference.

Yes, FF, but you do have to admit these teams don't like each other.

AND there have been some not-so-clean incidents over the years, too.

That said, it has been a mostly antagonistic free game between the two recently and is what a rivalry should be.

Jackets by 21.

Geez you sure have jumped on the Yellow Jacket band wagon here as of late. I know in the past you were pretty high on Wes Steele.

WHS MUST play better than they did against Harlan IF they expect to win this one. The D must show up, and the WR's can not drop the number of wide open catches they did Friday night.

LC turned the ball over a lot against the Dragons, too.

Jackets win this time. Lynn Camp will have a hard time putting up enough points to keep it close. Wburg 34 Lynn Camp 18

Not that it means much, but it always seems that the team that should win this game never does. It is a strange series, to say the least.

I agree

LC's offense should get a big boost when some of their players are healthy Friday night. I expect to see a few wrinkles from coach Mitchell as well.
