This should be a war this friday so lets get the ball rolling. Who takes this important game for district leadership. Campbellsville took both games last year, but its at the Jackets house this time. The Jackets have been rolling but Campbellsville has played a really tough schedule. Who do you pick?

I think this is Campbellsville's game to win. What I mean is this: Williamsburg is kind of in the drivers seat because they have been on a roll and their confidence is high. I think if they can get their running game going early then the Eagles will have a hard time stopping the Jackts and the Jackets in return pulls out a victory. So, it is up to Campbellsville to play tough on defense and stop the run forcing the Jackets to rely on their passing game (wich is stellar by the way) which make it easier for Campbellsville to set their defensive strategy. I think C-ville will beable to score and if they can stop or atleast slow down the high potent offense of the Jackets then they have a chance to win! Good luck to both of these teams I plan on being there Friday as I was last year during their classic playoff game!

The Jackets running game is much better this year. This balance makes them much harder to defend. The Jackets in a shootout. Playin at the friendly confines of Rose- Stanfill will be the differance.

I LIKE CAMPBELLSVILLE BEING THE UNDERDOG. THANK YOU......

How is Campbellsville be the underdog. They beat Williamsburg, not once but twice and at Williamsburg.

Campbellsville has also played an extremely difficult schedule.

After seeing the LCA film, I think C-ville was very close to beating one top teams in 1A. I think they pull off the upset, if you can call it that.

Campbellsville. I will even go as far as to say it will not be very close. I say C-ville wins by at least 2 touchdowns. Don't let the record fool. 2 of those losses were to Danville and LCA, in which C-ville looked good in both games.

This game will be very intense, IMO it will easily be the best game of the year. Both team are very good veteran team, this will be an absolute battle. The winner will be decided by which teams defense steps up.........saying that I think Williamsburg takes this one 40-28

I can see matchup problems both ways in this game. Campbellsville has had some problems holding on to the ball this season. Williamsburg is getting ready to face one of the most physical teams they will face this year. McCubbins could be the deciding factor in this game. C'ville and W'burg both have good QB's, W'burg has a better receiver, but McCubbins will be the best player to step onto the field friday night. If the Jackets cannot contain him and what he does well (just about everything), they will struggle. If they can stop or slow McCubbins, they could win this thing.

Williamsburg has played a good schedule, but Campbellsville's schedule was brutal and there has not been much they haven't seen thrown at them this year. This will probably end up more like the playoff game from last year in the end. Whoever blinks first loses.

Not sure I would see either team take it by 2 TD's. Think this will be a barn burner and maybe who ever has the ball last wins.

I thought Campbellsville was the preaseason favorite to win the district. I do not see them as an underdog at all , Williamsburg is probably the underdog if anything. Especially since they lost twice to c'ville last year. It will be a great game, but you would have to call the eagles the favorite.

I would agree whole heartedly

I've seen boh play and:

Campbellsville is by far the more physical of the two. I think this favors the Eagles. Team speed is close to the same. I do think Campbellsville has a stronger/bigger front that could make a hard life in the trenches for the Jackets all night.

Defensive breakdowns and turnovers are the keys to this game.

I don't see a last second win for either, just a mistake or two makes this a 9 or 14 point ball game.

Side note: Watts and McCubbins are the same type of big play guy, but IMO McCubbin is the better of the two. He will keep most everyone guessing all night. W'burg has had some trouble from this type of player. The big difference is that McCubbins has more help around him than Watts.
