Hoot Gibson
If this is indeed the case, why would Sen. McCain be "conceding the state"?Because McCain is not the optimistic conservative that I am. McCain needed to stay away from Michigan and unleash Governor Palin to hang the blame for the miserable state economy on Governor Granholm and the Democrats in Lansing. IMO, pitting contrasting a successful, popular governor against a tax and spender unpopular governor would have paid big dividends.
Mr.Fundamental
Get a grip, McCain is right on this one. If you're going to be an advocate of free trade, as I am, then have the stones to tell manufacturers they aren't going to be competitive globally and advocate programs that will put them in a position to be competitive. But don't lie to them. But the republican and democrate nominee both are for buying companies for the government so people can borrow more money, so more people can go into debt who can not pay off their debt loans. Sound economic policy from both camps. Don't you agree:confused: Vote Bob Barr!
