Prayers for Somerset Football Family

Featured Replies

Early this morning Dallas Salmons passed away after a 7 year battle with cancer. Dallas is survived by his wife Jennifer and son's Matthew and Andrew. Matthew was a former Jumper and Andrew is a Junior on this years team. All of our thoughts, our hearts and our prayers go out to Jennifer and the boys.

Dallas was a long time supporter of youth and high school athletics in Somerset. If you ever bought a tenderloin sandwich at the Correll Bowl you can thank Dallas, it was his huge gas grill and cooking expertise at work. Dallas was out every week ensuring the field was painted, for those of us that help paint, he was the "Boss". He never bossed anyone around, he would just always make sure everything was ready and that everyone's opinion was heard. Dallas was definitely one of the good guys.

It was very touching seeing many of the players at the hospital last night as well as numerous parents and friends there to support the family. It was especially touching seeing the players get together in a circle on their own for a prayer.

Dallas will be sorely missed by the entire Briar Jumper Family.

Dall, we loved you.

A very sad day for the Jumper family. Dallas was a great guy and he will be missed by all. Prayers for his family and friends.

My prayers have been sent up for the Salmons family. May God give them strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers from the Rambler household.

Prayers for the family and friends!

Dallas was a High School Classmate of mine. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
