East managed to move the ball on the ground pretty well for much of the game; but could only punch it in the end zone once until there were something like 12 seconds left in the game.

East really seems to have some discipline problems at this point in the season - multiple personal fouls committed, especially after the game was out of reach. I don't envy their task next game out against Russell, who got waxed by Ashland tonight and will be wanting to take it out on someone.

Congratulations to Mason Co. I'm really looking forward to your match-up with Russell. I think you can take them.

Should be an interesting matchup. Mason still has a ways to go in shoring up the run defense, however, to stop Russell. A look at East's rushing stats tells me that; they rolled up nearly 300 yards last night.

A big opposing teams line has always given the Royals fits. On both sides of the ball.

This year that situation may actually be more true than most.:scared:
