I heard that Bardstown's QB had not been sacked this season before the two sacks he recieved in last nights game. Anyone know if there is any merit to this claim? The way their O-line performed last night IMO it is doubtful.

 

That's not true, even though their line has exceeded expectations up until last night. Nelson Co. got to Keaton Hall at least once, and I seem to recall a second time as well.

I don't believe Bardstown is that bad of team before they knew what was going on the score was 21 to 0 in the first 7 minutes. John just has so many weapons it is hard to stop them for a whole game. Speed speed and more speed that is what the Bulldogs bring to the table. The defense is playing outstanding football as well, which makes it even tougher for teams to defeat John. Bardstown seem not to want to be on the field after the first quarter, hope they turn things around. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Matt is learning that varsity level has a different speed. He is starting to learn how to make a difference from the DE position not just rushing up field and hoping the play comes his way. Little undersized but his speed and tenacity makes up the size differential, look for by the end of the year Linton's name as sophomore of the year on the defensive side of the ball for the E-town area.

Tigers worst loss was 67-0 to Nelson Co. back in 1997. I believe '98 proved to be another blowout as well.

I was making more of a comparison of them to JH. JH is a good 5A team while Bardstown is an 0-4 2A team that is outclassed this year when playing up.

I agree Blockbuster. Hopefully B-town's strength of schedule will help them with the rest of their season.
