January 2, 200323 yr Bear meat : Been quite a few years since I ate it, but it was in Henderson, Ky. and there was a guy therwho used to have a big feast/party every year that featured nothing but wild game dishes. Will never forget the deep red color of the bear meat, it came from a hunt out west, but man it was mouthwatering. Like it all, but Grouse or Quail would have to rank right at the top.
