Your right they haven't looked bad at all. I would even venture to say they are the best team in the AFC thus far. But look at it this way. They beat the Browns by 4. The Cowboys beat them by 28. Big difference right there.

 

I would not use that, Browns get up more for the Steelers, not to mention that they played that game with 60 MPH winds. I will say that Cowboys did look better.

Buffalo put a beat down on Seattle and then went into Jacksonville and won too. While I agree that it might be a bit early to consider them top 5...I think they're on their way.

 

They should be 4-0 like you said headed into Arizona. They also have Miami (X2), Kansas City and San Francisco on their schedule. That should be 8 wins right there.

I think Buffalo showed a lot of promise last year. They had a rookie QB and RB and a defense that was absolutely killed by injuries, yet they were still competitive on a weekly basis.

 

Edwards is improving and more comfortable in his second year. Marshawn Lynch is a stud. Jason Peters is the best LT in football and anchors one of the best offensive lines. The WR's aren't top notch, but they're solid and have potential with Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish and rookie James Hardy.

 

The defense was more competitive than expected with half the team on IR last year...now that they're healthy, they're playing very good. The addition of Stroud in the middle didn't hurt. Also, they consistently have some of the best special teams in football and this year is no different. Parrish and McKelvin give them to explosive kick returners.

 

It won't be a fluke if Buffalo makes the playoffs. They're right on par and in the mix with a handful of teams.

Once again, I'll see how I feel about the power ranking of my Steelers after this weekend in Philly. Tough place to play, no doubt. But sans 60mph winds.
