September 13, 200818 yr Stopped by Impellazzi's last night at 5:00. Ordered pizza to be picked up at *8:30 p.m. Walked in at exactly 8:30 and Tony was cutting the pizza, fresh and hot! It was a huge hit with our team! Two thumbs up! :thumb::thumb: I'm so glad they liked it! I was sort of feeling some pressure...I mean...my pizza-queen crown was riding on this. I'm thinking about having one for myself tonight...It's been a week or so...I'm having withdrawals.

I was sort of feeling some pressure...I mean...my pizza-queen crown was riding on this. I'm thinking about having one for myself tonight...It's been a week or so...I'm having withdrawals. LOL, I too was having some pressure. I also, consider myself to be the pizza queen. I am always in charge of the pizza for our team, and usually, there are no complaints. If you are ever in Northern Ky, pm me. My team has always counted on the Wick's fix, so I was very nervous. Overall, I have to say, both are excellent, both have character.......it is a great, tough choice between two excellent places. Tony at Impellazzi's and his staff won as far as the personal hands on touch is concerned. I felt as if I walked into my friends business. We had a large order, and they were perfect! No parking problems. Our waitress wrote an old fashioned hand written order with a promise it would be ready, and it WAS to the detail. While writing our order, she conversed with several regular customers. Kentucy service at its best. We felt quite at home. Ironically, we over ordered and invited the staff of our hotel to join us. They wanted to know where we got such great pizza. I said...........Evidently you need tourist to tell you how to buy in your own area! Gave them a copy of our menu........ I should work on comission. Love visiting Louisville!:thumb:
