September 8, 200818 yr Cubs have 3 in St Louis, 3 in Houston. Milwaukee has 3 against the Reds at home and then they start a 10 game road trip. Who cares about the Cubs choking, the Bears FINALLY got some revenge against the Colts.
September 8, 200818 yr Houston is charging hard. A friend of mine in Texas says it's like watching a football team screw up a high draft pick by winning their last three games.
September 9, 200818 yr Author Reds are AWESOME!! Cubs lead now at 4 and half games, Brewers now 2-6 on their 10 game homestand.
September 10, 200818 yr Author Sky is still falling, Brewers lose, Cubs lose. Lead still at 4 and half games.
September 10, 200818 yr September call-ups been bad luck for Cubs and Brew Crew. Who needs a 40 man we can go with 26.
September 10, 200818 yr These walk-off losses are getting old. Hopefully we can get them all out of the way now.
September 11, 200818 yr I hope you get to see the highlight of a play at the plate tonight that involved Lilly and Molina... Lilly rocks Molina ... didnt expect to see that from a pitcher... you can see it if you go to cubs.com and then click on the live gameday and watch the videos on gameday... its crazy Edited September 11, 200818 yr by Jumpman4004 spelling

September 11, 200818 yr Houston has passed St. Louis into third place. They are en fuego. Hopefully the Brewers can hold them off, I'd rather not face the Stros in the playoffs
September 11, 200818 yr Author It's nice to see, that at least for one night, the sky stopped falling. Of course, it will start up again when they lose their next game. Hopefully Harden will have a nice outing tomorrow without any problems. Big Z can return the rotation with no problems on Saturday and the Cubs can get through this road trip. Gear up for what will be one heck of an environment next week against the Brewers.
September 11, 200818 yr Lilly taking out Molina was awesome--I think even Molina appreciated it after his chimes quit ringing. You don't expect that from a starting pitcher and it was good to see. I'm really hoping MLB steps in and does something about the Astros series. There is no good reason whatsoever for anyone to be flying into Houston, TX, with Ike bearing down.
