September 11, 200818 yr Maybe Atlanta, as well. Apparently the Houston GM thinks they can get one game in, "hunker down" on Saturday and maybe play a dh on Sunday. That is just absurd! I know they want revenues and home field advantage, but come on!
September 11, 200818 yr If its in St Lou I'm going there as those tickets should be relatively easy to get
September 11, 200818 yr Friday's game has been postponed. No make up date set yet. They will likely play Sunday and Monday and figure out what to do with the third game

September 11, 200818 yr Author I think the Stros should just forfeit those games Yep, I think that's fair. The Cubs gift wrapped all 3 of Houston's wins in Chicago, SO they need to return the favor and just let the Cubs have all 3 wins in Houston without playing. Fine with me.
September 12, 200818 yr Author Brewers lose, Cubs win. Lead in the division at 5 and half now.
September 12, 200818 yr I think the hurricane comes at a good time. Two extra days off to rest an overused bullpen and work in the extra rest Hardin and Zambrano are getting. They may just wait and see if the extra Houston game needs to be played and tack it on the end of the season if necessary.
September 12, 200818 yr Great win last night! Soriano and Fukudome made two incredible plays--great to see that kind of defense. Marmol sure got out of a huge jam--WOW! Glad to see Woody get the save and not give up a run this time. I also think that Ike is a huge break for the Cubs, I know that sounds awful, but you know what I mean. They get to go home during a road trip and pretty much have the weekend off.

This team is gonna make an old man of me:lol:
September 12, 200818 yr I watched the tag at 3rd several times in slo-mo on my DVR and it looked like Ramirez nailed him right before he got the bag. The no call on the balk was huge, though. Marmol has got to get that under control! That last at-bat with Pujols was almost too much for me to take--I was hiding my eyes and I felt sick to my stomach! This is ridiculous!

September 14, 200818 yr Author MLB finally makes a decision and the Cubs/Astros will play in Milwaukee. They will play one game tomorrow night and then a 2nd game on Monday. The third game will only be played after the regular season if it is necessary. I would hope that for the Phillies or Brewers sake, they game doesn't decide the Wild Card. I can't imagine the Cubs would play anyone in that game if they have everything wrapped up.
