Like others had said costly mistakes cost KC big time, they may not have won but they have come a long way in 6 years. KC is being talked about now in regards to bigger teams. I thought it would be closer with a KC win by a slight margin, but the mistakes must have cost them more than I thought they would.

 

Corbin was the better team, no doubt. KCs BIG O-line dominated us early but Corbin adjusted and actually got a few 2nd teamers in the 2nd half.

 

I was impressed with the short passing game of KC at times, I felt that the Corbin coaches had not prepared for this....or we are a bad pass D team.

 

#13 is a stud, I thought #??45?? should have had a few more carries. I might have the nubmer wrong....he got the handoff on KCs first scrimmage play.

Bad news for Brady and the Hounds as he was playing well. I am concerned about Corbin's depth because several kids are playing a lot of reps on both sides of the ball. Rossi went in for Foley went he went down at the LB spot and I did not see anyone else get any reps at LB during the game. Who else will get some time at LB now besides Rossi? Foley also spelled Campbell at the FB spot whenever Campbell got a rest, who is the backup at FB now?

Why were Coach Jewell and Coach Farris so upset about late in the game? They both went on the field and had an animated conversation with the referee concerning something that had happened and then it appeared like they had a long conversation with the Knox staff after the game.

From my understanding I believe the hounds special teams played a big role in that game. Luke Osborne, Jimmy Rossi were outstanding on the kick off and Matthew Taylor for the return team.

Special teams are very important in any game and Corbin has very good kids on special teams.

I hear that Jonathan Goforth is coming along well. That the hounds are now 3-0 but from the way i heard Corbins Steve jewell has his Special Teams leveled. Jimmy rossi, Luke osborne, and the whole right side were swormin all over knox centrals return team they didn't get outside the 30 but once.
