Lloyd did move the ball also, many times throughout the game. The O and D line played very inconsistent, yes, but Lloyd moved the ball with ease at certain points of the game, and stopped Beechwood several times. This game was not nearly as bad as others are making it sound. That's all I'm trying to say.

Just curious .In what ways did Lloyd impress you. They had trouble moving the ball most of the night. The TD drive they did good with a couple starters out for BW. Just curious what you seenfrom you perspective.

How are you gonna say what looked good for Lloyd? When BW (Tiepel) can't even hold onto the ball? Lloyds players played in the same weather and did not fumble once. I don't see how you can say that about how those boys...those men played?

I must be missing something .BW fumbled at least 5 times on hand offs or just losing the ball (1 may have come due to a hit).2 were in the midst of BW driving.BW completely owned the line both sides of the ball MOST of the night.IMO,if you can't hardly move the ball it is hard to score .If you take a few Lloyd mistakes away ,how many fumbles are you going to give back to BW?

Isn't Lloyd in the same district with NCC? If so they will finsh 2nd at best ,IMO.

That punt return for BW should never of happened since there was 3 seperate clippings and or block in the backs. Mistakes were not only made by Lloyd but also by the refs.

I wasn't there but just going on what I am reading, if BHS doesn't fumble twice on two long drives, this game probably isn't close at all. Seems the two special teams TD's equal themselves out. So, are you saying Lloyd could have won this game?

Yes Lloyd could have won.

All I here is excuses. I mean bottom line it was a drumming, bottom line. The score doesn't lie although some on her would like to argue that. And if anyone's arguement aganist BW is that they fumbled to much then why didn't Llyod capitalize on them?

Only at Beechwood can our young men beat a team 34-12 and our fans and the losing teams fans have negative things to say about them. They played a bigger school and beat them like a red headed step child.

It wasn't close, not ever. Lloyd was never in the game ! Even with 4 fumbles on our part. All the fumbles did was keep it from being very embarrasing for Lloyd.

The problem at Beechwood is that we (The fans) are spoiled. We are so use to winning and winning big, that if we don't beat a team by 40+ points we are asking "what's wrong ?!" and the other teams fans are saying they played us close.

We won 34-12 folks. Any where else, any other game, that is a rout !

Agree about the refs .Like when BW only got 3 downs on 1 series. There was a penalty and they counted the the down for the play.It was not a loss of down penalty.

If Lloyd did not have as much trouble holding on to the ball you think they would of scored more then.I can't see how you lose by 22 and you could of won.By the way take away the kick return for the 2 holdings that were not called also. But ,I am sure you did not see that.

AS for the SK scrimmage ,it is just that ,A SCRIMMAGE.Most teams do not use alot of plays in a scrimmage .They also play alot of players to see what players can do in situations.I am sure Simpson did play the whole scrimmage

Your right the score doesn't lie but you not going to say those boys did not come to play. They gave them a game way more than anyone expected BOTTOM LINE!

Your kidding me right Lloyd was never in the game? It was 14-6 at half im pretty sure thats in the game. The fumbles kept it from being embarrasing really since Lloyd forced those fumbles so BW is the one who is embarrasing cause they (Tiepel) can't hold onto the ball.:dancingpa

Really you would also think if they would have called the unsportsmen like conducted on 56 on the 3rd down play Lloyd would never had to punt. Also all the swearing on the field from the Tigers was never called either. Don't try saying BW got a raw deal on calls.

I think Lloyd will be fine when it comes to district play. They should be getting #3 back soon, and that can only help. Playing teams like Central Hardin and Beechwood should pay off when their real season starts.

Yes Lloyd could have won.[/QU

Beechwood should of beat them by a hundered.:sleep:http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/ubb/sleep.gif
