Beechwood 34 Lloyd 12

Featured Replies

Your kidding me right Lloyd was never in the game? It was 14-6 at half im pretty sure thats in the game. The fumbles kept it from being embarrasing really since Lloyd forced those fumbles so BW is the one who is embarrasing cause they (Tiepel) can't hold onto the ball.:dancingpa

I appreciate your loyalty for your team. But 34-12 is what it is.

Get a grip and move on.

Actually Lloyd didn't force all but one fumble. They were misques between the QB and running back. Take away the touchdown pass that was obviously out of bounds and it is fourteen to nothing. Because Lloyd had a quarterback that really worked his butt off and scrambled a bit because the pocket collapsed in less than two seconds, Lloyd was able to actually gain some yards. I would like to see the total yards on offense if anyone has it. I am sure that Lloyd didn't have much. The bottom line is that Lloyd played their absolute best and Beechwood played their absolute worst, and the score was 32 - 12. Not to take anything away from the Lloyd players who did come out to play, this game was not close, and I don't think that any of the Beechwood fans or coaches EVER thought that the game might have been in jeopardy. :sssh:

Lloyd lost by three touchdowns, there it is Llyod fans, argue aganist that. When you all tell me that BW kept fumbling, all that means is you can't take what is given to you. To blame the ref"s and say that only BW was swearing on the field and Lloyd is nice and wholesome and were not swearing is, well, very ignorant to say the least.

Well said by someone who has no dog in this fight ! :thumb:

How many yards did Teipel end up with ?

All I here is excuses. I mean bottom line it was a drumming, bottom line. The score doesn't lie although some on her would like to argue that. And if anyone's arguement aganist BW is that they fumbled to much then why didn't Llyod capitalize on them?

Didnt Holy Cross get beat by 26 points by Holmes are you kidding me? Your going to say our game was a drumming? When we played alot better team closer than what you played Holmes.

Only at Beechwood can our young men beat a team 34-12 and our fans and the losing teams fans have negative things to say about them. They played a bigger school and beat them like a red headed step child.

It wasn't close, not ever. Lloyd was never in the game ! Even with 4 fumbles on our part. All the fumbles did was keep it from being very embarrasing for Lloyd.

The problem at Beechwood is that we (The fans) are spoiled. We are so use to winning and winning big, that if we don't beat a team by 40+ points we are asking "what's wrong ?!" and the other teams fans are saying they played us close.

We won 34-12 folks. Any where else, any other game, that is a rout !

Wasn't the game 21 to 12 at one time your saying Lloyd was never in the game if 21 to 12 isnt in a game then what is?

I am a football man from NEKY that came up this week to see what Beechwood's team was like. You are right, Beechwood fans are spoiled, I know this because I watched many games as a Tiger fan while my best friend was a coach in the 90's with Coach Yeagle.

Beechwood did dominate this game and missed many scoring opps. But to talk about beating a "bigger" school?, come on. 2A and 1A are not that much different, especially in NKY. Good luck to the Tigers the rest of the way. I hope we win out to play you for the title.:walk:

Get over it ! BW out played you period. Man for man... To say if the protection was there it would have been different is just wrong. BW did what they needed to do to win... If BW thought the passing game was a threat to winning the game they would have positioned the players to take away that part of the game. Man for man you got beat down. By the looks of the JV game on Saturday expect more of the same in the future. BW isnt even healthy yet.

Your darn right we got our butts handed to us. But I also know that in fact, now listen close, Lloyd did not play well, they just didn't. You are making an argument where there is none. You lost by 22 points to BW, HC(which has no reason to be brought up and frankly takes away from your arguement which holds no water what so ever) lost to Holmes by 26. I would like to start a poll and see who here on BGP can honestly say after watching the Bulldogs and there classy coach play some big time football asking if BW is alot better team than Holmes. There becomes a point when being a homer isn't even worthy of a response. :flame:

How are you gonna say what looked good for Lloyd? When BW (Tiepel) can't even hold onto the ball? Lloyds players played in the same weather and did not fumble once. I don't see how you can say that about how those boys...those men played?

Tell me, just what did look good for Lloyd, yes the kickoff return and one catch, that accounts for maybe a minute! There line was non existant on both sides, recievers, with the exception of "the catch", didnt show up at all. wait the QB was impressive, big and elusive.

Beechood stunk up the field as well, if it was not for the play of Downton, Slusher and Mainello, they could of stayed home as well.

However winners find a way to win and.......................................You know the rest.

By the way that Tiepel kid you spoke of held on long enough to run just shy of 200yds!

Actually the enquirer had him at 227 yards.

I've heard 191, 240, and now 227! I picked the lowest total to stay on the safe side, I'll take 227 though. Not bad, close to 500 yds for 2 games, SICK!!!!
