Ok guys....since I'm not there to watch the games and make the judgement myself....tell me the truth..is Boyle good or is Henry Clay having an off year because this score surprised the heck out of me.

 

Henry Clay is way down compared to the last couple of years, but on the flip side Larry French is that good.

Did the helmet decal change come with the arrival of French? I must say I like the retro "REBELS" decal better than the prior "B".

 

The decision to go back to the "REBELS" decals was made by coach French. I liked the decison myself. We are known by every one as the "Rebels" who made that great 5 year championship run. May even bring some psychological advantage.

 

I think Henry Clay may be down some this year, but the Rebels have been very impressive in their opening victories aginst two 6A schools, (H.C.) was ranked 7th in class 6A.

 

So, great job Rebels, stay focused, and good luck against the ADS.

Boyle must be playing real good.

Look HC maybe down alittle no doubt. But look at the past games and scores. Boyle is that good and the kids are having fun and enjoy playing for French. He and his staff play and package calls make all the difference. These boys know football and they believe in what French is doing. Way to go rebels!

I hated that stupid looking B....I am glad that someone had the good sense to get rid of it....

Boyle County was very well prepared and very well coached for this game. Henry Clay needs to find their identity quickly.

 

Is it safe to say Lexington 6A football is hurting this season?

 

I think it is definitely safe to say that 6A in Lexington is hurting this season - BIG TIME. Watch out for the sole Lexington 5A program though!

It's pretty amazing to watch a program change from year to year. The Rebel program has done a complete about face from the 07 season. Coach French has made and continues to make a difference in the young men he and his staff coaches. We are very lucky (Blessed) to have landed such a role model for our kids. We love our French at Boyle.

I did not care for the White on White. I like the Black. I was told they are only wearing the white pants on turf.
