Who played well on defense for the hounds?

Clay will have a nice team this year. They will be fine but probably do need the D to step up a bit. With mountain football being run oriented for the most part, Clay will need to improve on the Run D from what I can tell. Getting to face a rushing attack like Corbin will definately prepare the Tigers better. I look forward to next Saturday night and getting my first look at the Redhounds.

Clay has some pass protection issues as well. Corbin was geting pressure with 4, and when they brought someone, it was even worse.

I thought French played pretty well with a couple sacks. Matthew Taylor played well, he'll lay a hit on you.

Varsity wise I think Clay Co. only scored 13 points and that was in the first half. Corbin scored 35 varsity wise with there last score with about 15 minutes left in the game. But all and all it was good for both teams.

How Did Corbin's jv look?

How many times did Watkins carry the ball.Dis they split even between him a Fritz.Looks like we may be back Coach Powers 3 yards and a cloud of dust good luck Redhounds.I heard this group of players get along better than some teams in the past.

Watkins got about 4 carries. Not sure what Fritts got but he had the bulk of them.

Perhaps he meant "ought" instead of "got", if so then he is correct and I stand corrected.
