August 19, 200818 yr Yes, and never regretted a dime paid to either the taxes or the tuition. Wouldn't think so. Just making a point.
August 19, 200818 yr Yes, and never regretted a dime paid to either the taxes or the tuition. Gee RM we sound like an echo!!!
August 19, 200818 yr Chose . Right and we didn't complain one bit about it . We just tightened our belts and paid the fees and tuition that was required , and the taxes . Then again, why in the world would you complain about something that you chose to do? Doesn't make sense...

KTN said he didn't complain, I just said he shouldn't have since he made a choice. I wasn't complaining either but to compare public school fees and private school tuition is apples and oranges IMO. If KTN's paying $3.50 for his coffee he's probably getting a double mocha latte espresso splash smothered, chunked and covered.

But, let me ask...if you have to pay some fees, does it make you feel a more vested interest in your kids education?

I don't see it as a vested interest as much as part of the "death and taxes" department. I don't know, maybe I do now that I think about it.
