There is no reason to believe this is a JV game. The Varsity players are starting their season off with playing time against another team. I am sure Coach Vanderhoof will have the Varisty players getting their reps in preparation for the Ashland game. Can all be revealed at a grid game? No

Just putting my two cents in about JV players. As fan and former coach, I always appreciate a coach that will put JV players in when they can. With a 1A team injuries can factor in. Just the numbers in general may not be there. I would like to know that a Coach would prepare his JV to go in and play at Varsity level if an injury or a need would occur. I think our Coaches will prepare the JV to do that.

Don't worry doc, I have been fired several time through the years and they keep letting me back, mostly bc I have seniority on most of them. Now if I can only remember what my job was/is.....or whatever I was fired from :confused:. Being an old fart does have it's perks .

Just a short announcement off topic. KCU which has players from both the Rams and Ashland will be having their first game at Morehead on Thursday the 28th in Morehead. I believe game time kicks off at 8. Thats two great nights of area football.

Lets find out. Who are the running backs for Ashland this year? Who is going to be the QB, I heard there was some competition until Hunter broke a finger. I think Bonner is going to be a big weapon. I saw a story in the paper about a good receiver and DB. How many OL are you all returning, all of them?

Coming from the old fart section I did notice only three posts about Ashland scimmage one being from our old friend Graybeard. Sounds like the Tomcats are on lock down.

I know those Tomcat fans are out there but its a low purrrrrr instead of a roar. What might they be hiding?????????
