WKY Regional Contest - Week 1 (Suggestions Only)

Featured Replies

Help me select the 5 top games in Western Kentucky for the BGP regional contest.

Only those games that are played on Friday, August 29 or Saturday, August 30 will be considered.

Here is a link to the KHSAA's schedule.

:ylsuper:

Two best opening weekend games in WKY:

Mayfield at Fort Campbell (two projected strong teams)

Murray at Calloway (played at MSU, Lakers favored although injured, but big rivalry)

Trigg at Hopkinsville (two ranked teams, Hoptown motivated to avenge last year's loss)

Here's your best matchups:

1) Tilghman - Christian Co

2) Ft Campbell - Mayfield

3) F.Simpson - Russellville

4) Trigg Co - Hopkinsville

5) Murray - Calloway Co

Caldwell Co - Madisonville could also be a good one...

Christian County v. Paducah Tilghman. Second game (after Hopkinsville - Trigg) of the Jerry Claiborne Bowl.

Agree on the Tilghman-Christian Co. game. Knew there was another out there that was large -this was it.

If I had to pick 5 games....

Christian County vs. Paducah Tilghman

Fort Campbell vs. Mayfield

Trigg County vs. Hopkinsville

Muhlenberg North vs. Muhlenberg South

Calloway County vs. Murray

Mayfield at Fort Campbell

Ohio County at Hancock County

Paducah Tilghman at Christian County

Muhlenberg South at Muhlenberg North

Grayson County at Edmonson County

ttt
