I think you have a good team, but I think your Wr's are weaker than your RB corp. Even if Rudi is injured, I think Felix Jones will have some nice games and Turner should be solid, on a bad team. Boldin and Ward are hard nosed and productive but both are 2nd fiddle on their own team.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't like the receivers either.

I'm having a blast with this ESPN live drafting...check out this team I just drafted. It rocks...I had the first pick.

QB - Drew Brees, David Garrard

RB - Adrian Peterson, Thomas Jones, LenDale White, Chester Taylor, Kevin Smith, Ray Rice

WR - Braylon Edwards, Brandon Marshall, Roddy White, Nate Burleson, Bryant Johnson

TE - Tony Scheffler

D/ST - Seahawks

K - Jeff Reed (Autopick, I was working away from my desk...but I'm picking up Rob Bironas assuming no one else does)

The only drawbacks...I wanted Darren McFadden but I couldn't justify picking him at #20 or 21 when I selected Edwards and Brees. Needless to say, he didn't last until my next pick. Also, I took a shot late in the draft and picked Scheffler, thinking Chris Johnson would still be available, but he didn't last. Other than that, I'm not sure this draft could have gone any better for me.

Some of my best values in this draft...

Brandon Marshall (Round 6, Pick 60)

Roddy White (Round 8, Pick 80)

Nate Burleson (Round 10, Pick 100)

Seahawks Defense (Round 12, Pick 120)

Bryant Johnson (Round 15, Pick 141)

^^^ so you took Peterson over LT?

Yeah, it is kind of cool. The ESPN draft is fun and pumps me up when I here the ESPN jingle at my pick. I have my draft two Saturdays from now.

That's the second team I've drafted. I've done one auction, but I'm going to try another one. It is cool. And they move quickly, so it doesn't take forever.

Yes. It took me a while to decide, but I went with AP. Still not convinced it was the correct decision. But, regardless, I like the rest of my draft.

No way they split carries 50/50 between LJ and Kolby Smith. If you want to take a chance on LJ getting injured, that's possible. But, if he's healthy, he's getting the bulk of the carries in KC. Plus, they drafted Jamaal Charles. Where does he fit in?

I wouldn't drop Ricky Williams either. Even if he doesn't get a 50/50 share of the carries, he's still going to get touches and could very well get a lot of red zone touches. So, even with less carries, he may be more valuable if he emerges as their goal line back and gets in the end zone more than Brown. Plus, you never know with Brown coming back from an ACL injury.

In a 10 team league, I doubt you're going to get a good RB at this point from the free agent pool. I still think it makes more sense to get Watson or Perry to back up Rudi. That way you can at least be sure you'll have another primary back, rather than taking a chance on a backup when you don't have the starter.

You've got one of the steadiest TE's in the league in Chris Cooley. I really don't think you need Greg Olsen as his backup. By the time Cooley's bye week rolls around, you should have an idea of which guys you can drop, or an injury will take care of the guess work for you.

Just my take on it...

Who are the best available RB's and WR's in your league?

I'm just telling ya what Edwards said a while back..

Coaches say a lot of things before the season starts. I don't believe it.

Maybe so, but I do believe Johnson's carries will be less over the season.. He struggled because he was really the only back they used last season..Edwards said that will not happen again and that Smith will get a good amount of touches. I dunno about 50/50 though.

It would definitely be a wise move to decrease LJ's workload. I just don't see it being significant enough to make Smith worth picking up (unless LJ gets hurt). Larry Johnson is one of the best runners in the league. The reason he struggled is because the Chiefs o-line was terrible and their QB play isn't any better. The two best players after LJ are Gonzo and Bowe and they're negated to some degree because of the QB play.

Decreasing his carries won't solve those two problems. It's a smart move though...if they keep him fresh, they might still have an elite RB when the o-line comes back around. If they keep feeding him 30 carries a game, they'll be looking for a RB by the time they get everything else figured out.

I hear ya man, I'm addicted. I just did my 3rd and here's what I came up with:

QB - Matt Hasselbeck - Phillip Rivers

RB - Clinton Portis - Marshawn Lynch - Julius Jones - Ray Rice - Chris Johnson

WR - Marques Colston - Laveranues Coles - Dwayne Bowe - Bernard Berrian - Derrick Mason

TE - Dallas Clark - Donald Lee

K - Josh Brown

D/ST - Tampa Bay

I think your team is pretty average. Especially for a 10 team league.
