Kings Island Pulled through

Nice. I've been thinking about hitting up Cedar Point this year. Need to up my thrill rides. KI is owned by Cedar Point now correct? If so, I wouldn't be surprised to see some wild rides coming in there soon. BTW, the Firehawk is a blast. It isn't very long, but if you haven't rode it before, I recommend it atleast once, for the experience of the face down ride.

Also, do they still have the indoor ride, Flight of Fear I think?? If so, does anyone else always feel like they are gonna lose their head in that thing?

We went to KI a week or so ago and when we arrived, they posted a sign that possibly 4 rides would be closed down. Once in the park after all ready buying tickets. we find out that 13 rides are closed. Long story short, the lines were insane, and so forth, so we go to complain and they told us nothing could be done other than filling out a paper. They ended up finally coming through and giving us replacement tickets.

Somehow I had missed it so I went back and read the thread. All I could think of was......

"Sorry folks, the moose at the gate should have told you."

I was telling a guy I work with about your story and it just so happens he was down there that day as well. He got there at 11:00 and left by 1:30 the lines were so long for the few rides that were operating. While he was there, there were just two rides operating in Nickleloden Land. I will have to tell him about you getting the complimentary tickets maybe he can try to get his. Cost him $200 to get in for 2.5 hours.

He got an e-mail yesterday, they are sending him free tickets.

Glad to see it worked out well for you and FF!

My friends and I will be visiting the park next Saturday. I told them about your ordeal, and they still wanted to give it a go, so hopefully they have everything open and operating.

...

Is that pic of Dunn?

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I got an email from Kings Island saying that we had 4 complimentary tickets waiting for us at the park. They apologized for that huge mess that we had to deal with. I am so excited. So Persistents pays off.:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa

:ylsuper: Alright!! Way to go MFF, I bet they were afraid of the entire BGP membership coming there and doing a little tap dance about their head and shoulders,:D. Like a line from an old coutry song....."we may do a little fightin' amoungst ourselves but you outside people had best leave us alone."

I am glad that you were able to get something done about it.:thumb:

I called the next day after all that ordeal happened, and they said all the rides were all ready working again. I guess we just had bad luck that day. But we are going back on Monday to use the tickets and I am calling before we leave to make sure all is good.
