Vauighn is going to have to play 35-40 minutes a game at PG...

Cashmere Wright tore his ACL. Vaughn now has to play PG...

Past two years where I'm feeling optimistic and a starter goes down... Geez.

How's McClain looking? And is Williams playing 100%?

Terrible news, how was Wright looking before the injury. Can anyone else play the point besides Vaughn?

Wright was having some of the typical freshman issues learning how to practice at Mick's tempo, but other than that he was looking great. Dixon and Bishop might be able to give them a few minutes here and there at PG, but Vaughn is really the only capable option left on the roster...

McClain is much improved after the foot surgery in the off season. Big Mike is 100% and looking great...

Downer, that will drop his scoring average by about 4 points IMO.

If McClain is looking solid, UC's frontcourt for the next few years is going to be very solid... Add in Wright, Dixon, and Vaughn, and you have to love what Mic's done to this program...

Any chance Riek stays for more than one?

Any chance Riek stays for more than one?

He's most likely here for two (if not 3) years. His knee isn't expected to be cleared until around BEast play, and he's going to have a lot of catching up to do when he gets here.

I've been really impressed with what I've seen from JUCO big man Steve Toyloy as well. He's a big, strong dude that grabs every rebound in sight. The big guys are really going to have to make it happen with Cash out...

I was just thinking that GT. The front court is going to have to carry a heavy load, as it seems as a lot of the talent that UC has is there now with the backcourt being thin...

Mick wants to get out and run, but Cash was the guy expected to trigger the action. The game plan has to change, but the talent is there to cover it.

They'll slow things down and play tough man to man D. It might take a little while to adjust, but Deonta and Mike will lead the way early...
