July 28, 200818 yr Not a Cubs fan but I was flipping through the channels and saw him closing it out. Always wondered why he chose baseball over football. But it looks like he could of been good at either.
July 28, 200818 yr The brine in pickle juice is supposed to toughen up the skin. It's also drank by football players in August as a way to fight leg cramps due to dehydration. The superglue keeps your skin together. I've always drank the pickle juice when I was playing sports and NEVER once got cramps:thumb:

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere and I could be wrong that he's from Indiana and grew up a huge Cubs fan so being drafted by them was like his dream coming true
July 28, 200818 yr He just needs to soak his fingers in pickle juice more. Or use more superglue. He could call Moises for some pointers...:creepy::lol:
July 28, 200818 yr  "Hey, Moises. Can you help a friend out." "Urine luck.":lol::lol:Gross!!!!
July 29, 200818 yr I would still like to see Samardzija in a NFL uniform just my opinion. But good for him to make it to the pros and hope he stays up there, I'm not a Cubs fan and never will be but I think right now this is a try out for him to see how he fares against major league hitters. Good luck to him!
July 29, 200818 yr I kinda wondered why he chose baseball because it seemed like he would go first round in the NFL draft, but if he is running it up there at 99 then I see exactly why he did what he did...
July 29, 200818 yr I think he just likes to play baseball more, coupled with growing up a Cub fan, less chance to get seriously hurt, longer shelf life, probably more money over the long haul, no brainer IMO
