Finally the credit I deserve.:thumb::banana::fire::sssh::ylsuper::D

Sure McCreary will be the favorite to win their district, and one of the favorites in the region but face it, Raider Rob has had several chances to get it done and refresh my memory....how may region rings does he have? No, He has taken them as far as he can, sometimes it is time to see the handwriting on the wall, Time to bring in a "Coach" who can get them over the hump.

Jones doesn't freeze up in big games. The region champions the last two seasons has been Lincoln County. Last year, the Patriots jogged down to McCreary and were beat by Jones and the Raiders. Two seasons ago, the Raiders headed north and beat the Patriots on their home floor.

I think this is the year they finally break through. A few seasons ago, the busted through and lost the district championship game, but it was the closest any team had been to Southwestern in the district. Then, they upset West Jessamine before falling to eventual champion Boyle County by five.

Jones and the Raiders can win. It reminds me a lot of Kansas. They were upset a couple of years in a row before finally busting through, even with their elite talent. Southwestern beat McCreary this past season with a slow, deliberate offense and McCreary failed to make their free throws. Southwestern will be improved enough that they won't be reliant on luck, and a slow offense, to win games and I expect McCreary to finally prevail.

And besides, unless something goes extremely crazy behind the scenes or McCreary loses every game for two straight years, Jones will decide when he wants to leave.

Point 1: Raider Rob does not choke in big games....Hmmmm beats team in reagular season but loses in post season to them. Cough......Cough

"Are you okay Mr. Raider????"

Point 2: SW will not have to rely on deliberate offense, if it works don't fix it, why would they change their game plan to suit MC.....Huuurrmmmppppphhhhh

"OMG call an ambulance something is wrong!!!!!!!"

Point 3. Raider Rob's job is secure regardless of record.....so truely what is his motivation to excell as a coach?.................Full out choke by the administration if that is true.

1. Was Lincoln vs. McCreary a big game? I know winning in the post season is best, but to say he chokes in the big games is ridiculous. You don't beat these teams or beat other big name teams in the post season like he did a couple of years ago.

2. Southwestern only relied on that offense because of the talent they had this past season. Shultz likes to run and if he has a team to do that, he'll do it. Hello... look at his past teams.

3. We don't really have to worry about the record - it's just fine. :)

You keep winning regular season games and Lincoln County will keep collecting regional championships SSF.

Mr. Whitley Co., Try to beat a team with a winning record. The Raiders will be just fine. I sure wish the your team would play the radiers again.

Good Luck!

Right on OSP! Go Patriots!:ylsuper:

Whitley does not boast a Mr. Basketball canidate (who can't get out of the district) They did pretty well with only one senior on the team last year.

With Mr. Watts back the Raiders will be tough, need to boost the none regional scedule up a little.

You keep winning regular season games and Lincoln County will keep collecting regional championships SSF.

Great comeback.:ylsuper::D:thumb::banana:
