Skunk
But he did get thrown out of a tournament during dead period? I stand corrected, looking over the Lions schedule, dead period was when the Lions played in Nashville.
bulldog77
I stand corrected, looking over the Lions schedule, dead period was when the Lions played in Nashville. Coach Meyerhoff is very aware of the dead period every year. He takes great pains to make sure either there are no Beechwood players present, or he doesn't coach the Lions team during that time. I have had the priviledge to sit in for him a time or two for just such reasons. Bob plays it straight.
STRIKE3
I heard that the Lions head Coach is a HS head coach and that he got thrown out of a game in (Florida maybe) during the KY dead period. How can something like this be allowed? I was under the impression that no HS head coach could participate in any activities directly with players from their own team during dead period.A perfect example, of why we need to verify hearsay, before posting on BGP. This one is done.
